Coexistence fund: MK Rotem's proposal is harmful
The Abraham Fund for coexistence between Jews and Arabs has called on the Ministerial Committee for Legislation to reject a proposal by MK David Rotem (Yisrael Beiteinu), which demands benefits in acceptance to universities and jobs for former IDF soldiers.
"This proposal is another link in the destructive chain of discrimination against the Arab public, which constitutes over 20% of all of Israel's citizens. This proposal is harmful and dangerous to coexistence," the fund said in a statement. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
