Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev has paid tribute to all the countries of the "anti-Hitler" coalition that defeated Nazi Germany 65 years ago as thousands of soldiers marched across Red Square.
Troops from the United States, Britain and France joined the Russian armed forces for the Victory Day parade for the first time. In the annual display of military might, dozens of armored vehicles, some carrying missiles, rolled across the cobblestones of Red Square. Military aircraft roared overhead. (AP)
