Spain's Foreign Minister Miguel Moratinos said that it was easier to attain peace during the Madrid Conference than it is nowadays, due to terror and the Iranian issue.
During a speech in Ben-Gurion University, the foreign minister said he was convinced beyond doubt that all Israelis wants peace, and that their Palestinian neighbors and Arab countries also seek peace. Moratinos added that a two state solution must be reached soon – because it might be impossible to hold negotiations in the future. (Ilana Curiel)
