Barak: International insistence on Iran sanctions needed
Defense Minister Ehud Barak met with Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos and told him that "a strong international insistence on efficient, active, goal-oriented, and time-limited sanctions is needed for Iran's nuclear program".
He added that Israel had begun proximity talks with the Palestinians. "I believe (the talks) must take a joint path leading within a short time to renewal of negotiations," he said. (Attila Somfalvi)
