Jerusalem Day: 2 arrested at leftist protest in Sheikh Jarrah
Fifty left-wing protesters started demonstrating in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah against the Jewish settlement of the neighborhood. The protesters reported that the police used violence against them and said that two of their colleagues were arrested.
"We are protesting the bluff known as Jerusalem Day," said Avner Inbar, one of the protesters, to Ynet. (Ronen Medzini)
