Hamas: Egypt torturing Palestinian detainees

The Hamas government in the Gaza Strip is accusing Egyptian security forces of torturing Palestinian detainees.
"Some 30 members of the Palestinian factions are being held by the Egyptian security forces, 11 of them Hamas members," said an organization spokesman. He demanded that Egypt release the men, claiming that the Egyptian authorities have done nothing on the matter, "although are subject to shocking torture." (AFP)
