An attack on a police convoy in Russia's North Caucasus province of Dagestan killed eight people on Thursday, the Interfax news agency reported.
Several others were injured when the convoy was hit by a blast and gunfire, Interfax cited an unidentified law enforcement official as saying. (Reuters)
