Some 1,000 people held a protest in Kfar Kanna against the arrest of Ameer Makhoul and Omar Said, two Israeli Arabs suspected of espionage and contact with a foreign agent. The demonstration, held near Said's home in the village, was attended by Chairman of the Higher Arab Monitoring Committee Mohammad Zeidan, Knesset members, and heads of various organizations.
Knesset Member Hanin Zoabi (Balad) said to Ynet, "Israel is politically bankrupt. The one who need to be investigated is the State. The day will come when it will be punished for its criminal illegal policy." (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
