Begin: No chance for positive results to negotiations
None
Minister without portfolio Benny Begin (Likud) said that in his estimation, "There is no chance that the negotiations with the Palestinians will achieve positive results or lead to an agreement."
Begin, who spoke to activists in the Kibbutz Movement in a closed forum, claimed, "Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas) has already rejected far-reaching proposals by (former Prime Minister Ehud) Olmert. These proposals even included the division of Jerusalem – that's why I don't believe there is any chance for an agreement." (Attila Somfalvi)
