Man shot to death in Tayibe

Clan war between Abd al-Kader, Hariri crime families claims yet another victim: 35-year-old man from Tayibe

A 35-year-old man was shot to death on Saturday in Tayibe's Khares neighborhood. He appears to be yet another victim in the bloody war between local crime families.

A Magen David Adom emergency unit evacuated the man, who sustained critical wounds, to the Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, however paramedics were forced to pronounce him dead before reaching the site.

Last Wednesday Raed Masrawa, 37, was murdered in the city after being fired at while driving near a crowded café.

Police sources said Masrawa, who was a member of the Abd al-Kader crime family, was a victim in a conflict between the group and the Hariri family.

The rivalry between the two families has claimed the lives of dozens in the Triangle area.

On Sunday, a 35-year-old man was shot in Qalansawe sustaining serious injuries. The incident is also believed to be related to the conflict.
