Egyptian border guards kill Sudanese migrant

Egyptian security and health officials say border guards have fatally shot a Sudanese migrant from Darfur trying to cross illegally into Israel.

The officials say the guards fired warning shots Sunday to try to stop 39-year-old Adam Ali Mohammed.

Mohammed died shortly before reaching a hospital in the city of El-Arish. (AP)
