Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan will go to Tehran on Sunday, a government official said, to join Brazilian and Turkish negotiators trying to convince Iran to revisit a stalled UN-backed nuclear fuel swap deal.
Negotiations were underway on Sunday between Iranian officials and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. The talks are seen by the West as Iran's last chance to allay tensions over its disputed nuclear activites and avoid a new round of UN sanctions. (Reuters)
