Haredi suspected of kidnapping homeless woman's body arrested

The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court has extended by a day the remand of Shmuel Bezalel, prime suspect in the abduction of the body of a 25-year-old homeless woman who died three months ago.
Bezalel and dozens of haredim entrenched themselves with the body in the Geula neighborhood at the time in order to prevent it from undergoing an autopsy. Police fear riots would resume in the city following the suspect's arrest. (Shmulik Grossman)
