Haredi suspected of snatching girl's body placed under house arrest

The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court placed Shumuel Betzalel, who is suspected of snatching the body of a 25-year-old homeless girl about three months ago, under house arrest for four days.
Betzalel and dozens of other ultra-Orthodox men barricaded themselves in the Geula neighborhood with the body of the woman, who died of an overdose, in order to prevent an autopsy. (Shmulik Grossman)
