Uganda's rebel Lord's Resistance Army killed two south Sudan officials and their driver in the semi-autonomous region which votes on independence in less than eight months, a local official said on Tuesday.
South Sudan and Uganda troops have been hunting the LRA in the remote porous border region after peace talks in 2008 failed to cajole rebel leader Joseph Kony from his jungle hideaway. (Reuters)
