Shalit activists: Abu Tir's release absurd

The director of the campaign for Gilad Shalit, Shimshon Libman, responded to the release of Hamas commander Muhammad Abu Tir, linked to the abduction of the captive soldier, and said that "we are all actors in the State of Israel's theater of the absurd".
"Is this a confusion of values, systems, or just a lack of leadership and contempt for the treaty between the state and its citizens?" Libman wondered. "The State of Israel is a law-abiding, democratic state that cannot remain naïve to methods of applying pressure in the cruel language of the Middle East." (Ahiya Raved)
