Palestinian tries to steal van with infant, mother inside
An Israeli woman sustained a stab wound in her hand after a Palestinian man tried to steal a van with her infant girl inside.
Police say the father stopped at a gas station near Jerusalem, leaving his wife and daughter inside, when the man jumped in and tried to drive off. The woman attempted to fight him and he stabbed her in the hand before losing control of the vehicle and colliding with a guardrail. He then fled the scene. Police have launched a search for the culprit. (Shmulik Grossman)
