Protest in Tel Aviv

VIDEO - Drivers and passersby on Tel Aviv's King George street on Thursday were surprised to discover a huge banner on the Metzudat Ze'ev building (also known as Jabotinsky House), the Likud headquarters
in the city, reading "Barak razes, Bibi laughs," referring to Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The banner was placed by activists of the Samaria Settlers Committee who protested the razing of houses in Shavei Shomron as part of the West Bank construction freeze.
The activists said they are aware of plans to hold future demolitions in Givat Ronen, near the settlement of Har Bracha, and Yitzhar's Hill 725.
A video documenting the sign being placed shows the site's security guards caught off guard and unable to stop the activity. Nevertheless, the banner was removed shortly after being placed.
The incident is the second since the beginning of May in which settlers hold anti-freeze protests in Tel Aviv. Defense Minister Ehud Barak was the target of the previous protest where activists placed the ruins of buildings which have been razed near his apartment building, wishing his house would be demolished too.
