Immigration Authority allows Chilean father to reunite with family in Israel

Ismail Janeis, a father who arrived from Chile to reunite with his Israeli family members after 10 years apart, will be allowed into Israel, the Interior Ministry's Immigration Authority reported. According to the statement, Janeis will be allowed to remain in Israel one month on condition of posting collateral.
Janeis has been detained since Thursday at Ben Gurion Airport on the grounds that he was previously deported from Israel and had yet to provide any proof of paternity to the children he came to Israel to visit. (Yael Branovsky)
