Government extends tenure of civil service commissioner

The government has extended the tenure of Civil Service Commissioner Shmuel Hollander. The only minister to vote against the decision was Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch.
Aharonovitch's office said in a statement that "extending the tenure shows disrespect to the government's decisions. It starts with such decisions and continues with difficulties to implement bigger decisions." (Attila Somfalvi)
