Egypt's military ends maneuvers in the Sinai

Egypt's armed forces have ended large scale military maneuvers in the Sinai Peninsula, which borders Israel.

The official Middle East News Agency says the weeklong maneuvers, code-named "Badr-2010," included an exercise to cross the Suez Canal as well as a simulation of an offensive thrust deep into enemy territory. (AP)
