Kouchner meets Lebanese leaders

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, who is currently visiting the Middle East, met with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman on Sunday. Kouchner told Suleiman that the purpose of his visit is to ease the current tensions in the area.
Earlier on Sunday, the French official met with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri. The two discussed efforts to calm tensions and advance the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. (Roee Nahmias)
