Rivlin: No point in punishing Arab MKs

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin attended a Knesset committee meeting over denying the rights of the Arab MKs who traveled to Libya.
Rivlin, who asked to attend the meeting, said, "Israel can be criticized about many things, but not about it being a democratic country. I urge you to think about both the matter of principle and the benefits. I estimate that in terms of benefit, the Knesset won't bring to justice even those who in the eyes of many MKs harm the very existence of the State of Israel." (Amonon Meranda)
