Elior Chen in court: I believe I will be convicted
The lawyer representing "abusive rabbi" Elior Chen continued on Monday to refuse to cross examine the prosecution's witnesses in a hearing at the Jerusalem District Court.
Attorney Ariel Atari argued that he requires more time to study the case's material before cross examining the witnesses. Elior Chen said in the hearing, "I believe that I will be convicted, whether my lawyer cross examines or not. Therefore, I prefer this default." (Aviad Glickman)
