Haredim block Jerusalem road in protest of Jaffa arrests

Dozens of haredi men rioted in Jerusalem's Shabbat Square and blocked Bar-Ilan Road, punctured the wheels of buses and set fire to dustbins.

The protestors are demanding that the police release haredim arrested in Jaffa earlier Monday while rioting against construction works area. Massive police forces have been deployed near Shabbat Square in a bid to disperse the crowd. (Shmulik Grossman)
