5 east Jerusalem residents arrested for tax evasion

Police and representatives of the Israel Tax Authority arrested five residents of the Issawiya village in east Jerusalem as part of a special tax evasion operation. Officers also arrested seven illegal aliens and confiscated several vehicles for past debts.
Jerusalem Municipality and police sources said that collection efforts will continue on Tuesday. (Shmulik Grossman)
