Officer who ran down protestor in Amona evacuation gets 3-month term

The Jerusalem Magistrates' Court has sentenced former police trooper David Edri to three months in prison for charging at a protestor and trampling him under his horse's hooves during the Amona evacuation in 2006.
Edri was charged with assault and battery. His sentence was commuted to community service. (Shmulik Grossman)
