MK Zahalka: Revoking citizenship should be outside penalization field

MK Jamal Zahalka (Balad) described a bill proposing to revoke the citizenship of terrorist organizations' spies as "an unconstitutional bill in violation of international law which stipulates that no person should be left without citizenship."
"Revoking one's citizenship should be beyond the field of 0penalization. There are countries which execute people but do not revoke their citizenship. This is a dangerous bill which was approved to please Yisrael Beiteinu," MK Zahalka said. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
