It was cleared for publication that Ameer Makhoul, who was indicted for serious espionage on Thursday, confessed during a police interrogation in 2008 that he met with a Hezbollah agent in Denmark and agreed to join the group as an agent.
Makhoul also relayed the names and details of Israelis as possible Hezbollah recruits in the future. It was also revealed that Makhoul provided Hezbollah with information regarding the location of a Mossad facility in Central Israel. (Eli Senyor and Hanan Greenberg)
