More than 7,400 acres (3,000 hectares) of vegetation and shrubs have gone up in flames in a fire near the Gamla National Park in the Golan Heights, according to the Israel Nature and Parks Authority.
Seven firefighting teams are still active on the ground with assistance from aircraft. Strong winds have hindered their efforts. (Hagai Einav)
