US presidential aide says Gulf oil may leak until August
White House energy czar Carol Browner says oil might keep leaking into the Gulf of Mexico for months until relief wells are completed.
Browner told NBC television's "Meet The Press" that the administration is "prepared for the worst." That's a scenario none of the measures under way will work, and oil leaks until relief wells are finished in August. She said the government has ordered BP to drill two relief wells in case the first well doesn't work. (AP)
