Report: Arab League to hold urgent meeting on Gaza flotilla takeover
Top Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat told al-Jazeera news network that the secretary-general of the Arab League responded to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' request to convene an urgent meeting on the takeover of aid ships traveling to Gaza.
Earlier, Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh urged the Arab League, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, and the United Nations Security Council to hold urgent meetings on the takeover of the Gaza aid flotilla. (Roee Nahmias)
