Assad talks to Turkey's Gul, says Israeli attack 'barbaric '
Syrian President Bashar Assad held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul and conveyed the Syrian people's condolences for the victims in "Israel's criminal attack on the sail."
The official Syrian news agency reported that Assad has called on the US to pressure Israel into "ceasing its barbaric attacks and lifting the Gaza blockade." (Roee Nahmias)
