El Al suspends new Tel Aviv-Istanbul route

Israel's El Al and Turkey's Atlasjet airlines have decided to suspend the Tel Aviv-Istanbul route which was slated to begin operations in late June. The two airlines signed an agreement on the new route last March.
El Al Spokesman Rani Rahav said that the decision was made under "mutual consent and in light of the current situation." He expressed hope that the route's activity would commence in the near future. (Ynet)
