Attorney Uri Messer spoke for the first time about the Holyland affair in which he is suspected of bribery. "I feel good," he said. "I want to say that I am not connected to the affair in any way. Regarding other issues connected to my work, I acted professionally."
During an Israel Bar Association conference, the former Ehud Olmert associate added, "My arrest was unnecessary, in vain. I think this sets a dangerous precedent for all lawyers and I have not spoken and will not speak about the interrogation itself of course. We intend to submit a civil claim against the state witness soon." (Aviad Glickman)
