Al-Jazzera: Egypt opening Rafah crossing for humanitarian aid to Gaza
Al-Jazeera has reported that Egypt will open the Rafah crossing with Gaza in order to allow the passage of humanitarian aid to the Strip.
It remains unclear whether the move has to do with the failed aid flotilla to Gaza, because the crossing opens once a month for a few days. Palestinian and Arab officials are pressuring Cairo to keep the crossing open indefinitely. (Roee Nahmias and Ali Waked)
