Lieberman: International community hypocritical

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman spoke with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon following the UN Security Council resolution, and said that the hypocrisy and double standards of the international community regarding Israel is unfortunate.
Lieberman noted that only last month some 500 people were killed in Thailand, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran and India and the international community is silent and indifferent, while Israel is condemned for its defensive action. In light of all this, the resolution is unacceptable, he said. (Roni Sofer)
