2 rockets fired from Gaza

No injuries reported after Qassams launched from Strip, one lands near kibbutz in Negev

Palestinians fired two Qassam rockets from Gaza towards Hof Ashkelon Regional Council Tuesday, one of which landed near a kibbutz. No injuries or damage were reported.

Over night Monday, a Qassam rocket was fired at the same area, and damaged a greenhouse. A Color Red siren was not activated before the rocket hit, but a loud blast was heard during the night.

Searches Tuesday morning revealed that a rocket had exploded in the community's greenhouse area.

On Tuesday morning the IDF killed two people after they were seen crossing the border fence from Gaza into Israeli territory. No soldiers were injured in the incident, and the IDF was combing the area for suspects it believes were trying to plant an explosive device.

Residents of four communities in Eshkol Regional Council were instructed to remain indoors Tuesday morning, due to a possible terrorist infiltration. Some of the roads in the area were also closed to traffic.
