Livni visits soldiers wounded in Gaza flotilla raid

Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni (Kadima) visited some of the soldiers wounded in the raid on the Gaza flotilla and said that they "must be kept out of the public debate."
"The government should be the one to answer any questions about this operation, not IDF soldiers," she said. "We each have to thank them for risking their lives to defend Israel and its security. We must altogether separate the respect and appreciation we feel for our soldiers, from the questions and criticism we have." (Roni Sofer)
