A court had extended the remand of 17 people arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and throwing stones. The police said it would file indictments against them.
The court ordered the release of one other who had been arrested on Monday, and police said they would appeal the order and continue to apply a policy of "zero tolerance" against those who disturb public order or throw stones. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
