South Africa summons Israel envoy over flotilla raid

Israel's ambassador to South Africa was summoned Tuesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after "the unjustified and totally unacceptable military action" by the Israeli army against pro-Palestinian flotilla.

Deputy-Minister of Foreign Affairs Sue van der Merwe, who met with the Ambassador Dov Segev Steinberg, demanded an investigation into the incident. (AFP)
