Death toll from British shooting spree rises to 12

British police said the death toll from a shooting spree in northwest England earlier on Wednesday had risen to 12.
Police also said they they had found the body of the gunman, whom they named as 52-year-old taxi driver Derrick Bird. Multiple shooting incidents are rare in Britain where there are strict gun controls. (Reuters)
