Rise in number of minors sexually harassed in 2009

More youths and children were victimized by sexual harassment in 2009 than the previous year, according to a special report filed with the Knesset by the Association for Rape Crisis Centers in Israel.
The report says crisis centers received 35,000 general appeals in 2009, among them 7,594 by new victims. The vast majority (87%) said they knew their attacker. (Yael Branovsky)
