2 Palestinians injured as Israelis open fire after being stoned
Two Israelis were lightly injured when their car was pelted with stones southwest of the West Bank city of Bethlehem. Another Israeli who witnessed the incident opened fire at the stone throwers, who fled the scene. One of the Palestinians was wounded in the back, and another in the leg.
Police and army forces were dispatched to the area and began searching for the stone throwers. The injured Palestinians were evacuated by the Red Crescent. (Shmulik Grossman and Ali Waked)
