Arkia plane makes forced landing near Eilat; no injuries reported
An Arkia plane carrying 72 passengers from Eilat was forced to make a landing at the Ovda Airport in the Negev due to a technical problem in its engines. The airport declared a state of emergency, and ambulance and firefighters were dispatched to the area.
The plane landed safely and there were injuries. Another aircraft is expected to pick up the passengers and fly them back to Tel Aviv. (Ahuva Mamos and Yoav Zitun)
