Court sends Sheikh Salah to house arrest under restrictions

The Ashkelon Magistrate's Court has placed Sheikh Raed Salah and three other Arab activists arrested following their participation in the Gaza-bound flotilla under house arrest with restrictions.
The court further ruled that the four would have to post bail of NIS 150,000 and would not be allowed to leave the country. The suspects' lawyers had asked the court to release them without any conditions, but the judges favored the police's stand. (Shmulik Hadad)
