President Shimon Peres visited the soldiers wounded in the Gaza flotilla incident, and told them, "You did the nation's bidding before you did your own bidding."
"The State of Israel will continue to reach its hand out to peace. I am taking the opportunity of my visit to call again to Hamas: Abandon the path of terror, recognize Israel, and return to the negotiation table with us. This is the only way to remove with your own hands the blockade on Gaza," said Peres at Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer. (Ynet)
