Avraham Infeld honored for fortifying Jewish identity

President Emeritus of Hillel International and 'ambassador for Jewish peoplehood' receives Renaissance Award

The NADAV Foundation extended warm congratulations to Avraham Infeld, a senior scholar and advisor at the Foundation. Infeld received Hillel’s Renaissance Award at New York's Columbia University Wednesday in recognition of his extraordinary service to the Jewish People.

 

Infeld, President Emeritus of Hillel International, has devoted his professional life to fortifying Jewish identity through pluralistic Jewish education and fostering relationships among Jews the world over.

 

Infeld's professional accomplishments include founding Melitz - a center for Jewish Zionist education, serving as President of Hillel International and the Chais Family Foundation and taking on the unique role of Roving Ambassador for Limmud International.

 

"Avraham Infeld has brought to the NADAV Foundation his vast experience and knowledge, his love of the Jewish People and a wonderful sense of humor", said Irina Nevzlin Kogan, President of the NADAV Foundation. "He is truly an ambassador for Jewish peoplehood, a value he has dedicated his whole life to. Avraham is our wisdom and inspiration and we are very proud that he is receiving this award".
