President Barack Obama confronted the country's raging immigration debate in a meeting with Arizona's conservative Republican governor, who says she gave no ground on the explosive political issue.
She called Thursday's 30-minute White House meeting "very cordial." Obama said it was "good." But there was nothing in the comments of either the president or Gov. Jan Brewer to suggest they had done anything more than agree to disagree and keep the dialogue open. (AP)
