Cyprus, Greece look into boosting aid to Gaza
A Cypriot official says Cyprus and Greece will seek ways of boosting the flow of humanitarian aid into blockaded Gaza.
Government spokesman Stefanos Stefanou said on Friday that Cyprus President Dimitris Christofias launched the initiative in cooperation with Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou. Stefanou says Cypriot Foreign Minister Markos Kyprianou is already in Israel for meetings with officials there including his counterpart Avigdor Lieberman. Kyprianou will also meet with Palestinian Authority officials. (AP)
